For me personally, yoga is a powerful way to align/unite my mind, body and soul, and to increase my prana (life force/energy). Most importantly, yoga is beyond a physical activity, it is truly a healing practice, as it allows me to deepen my consciousness and awareness, in that way, I am more connected to myself and the world around me. Yoga is a wonderful journey of self-exploration and unity.
My teaching style involves creating a comfortable, safe and relaxing environment for participants. I like to do this by playing meditation music, turning on a diffuser that releases calming essential oil scents and finally, simply using my voice and various yoga techniques to bring everyone to a state of inner wellness, peace and healing. I also love to begin my classes by having everyone set an intention and affirmation as a way to connect with their inner selves. The session is a beautiful flow filled with good energy!
