Bernadette worked over 20 years in the corporate world, but always been passionate about physical activities. With her daughter in 2010, she obtained her 1st Dan in Taekwondo.
By always maintaining a work-life balance and the ability tp get in touch with her inner self, she began her Yoga journey in 2014. Realizing that Yoga is much more than physical practice it is a way of living. Yoga has brought her peace, mental clarity and sense of gratitude.
Bernadette completed her RYT 200 Yoga Teacher Training certified through Yoga Alliance, then following a RYT 20 Restorative Yoga Teacher Training. She continues to attend workshops to keep learning and deepening her personal practice to continue to share her knowledge with others.
Bernadette’s classes vary between Hatha, Vinyasa Flow to Restorative style in her classes. She places emphasis on alignment with a purpose to link movements to breathe. Her style of Yoga is to calm and renew and rejuvenate her clients.
Bernadette’s classes are suitable for beginners and seasoned practitioners and allow clients to explore the base and foundation of Yoga.
In Restorative Yoga she helps clients reduce stress, muscle tension while restoring the mind and body connection. Postures are focused to help access deeper connective tissue, targeting the hips, spine and back.
Bernadette’s classes often teach presence, connection and endless opportunity in every moment. She loves to combine creative sequencing to deepen the practice and seeks to help others thrive, hoping that clients step off the mat feeling refreshed, renewed and balanced.
