Helena  is recognized, as a licensed  Acupuncturist  and a  member of the  College of Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioners and Acupuncturists  of Ontario.She has been  performing  acupuncture since 2000. She joined  our clinic to perform   acupuncture,  giving   our patients  an opportunity to choose treatment  from a  different approach.

Helena  performs  traditional  Acupuncture based on diagnosis according to Traditional Chinese Medicine and  Western Diagnosis.

She is using  sterile single used needles .The course of the treatment is required between 1-10 sessions,1-3 times a week  for the  best  results.Every person  will respond to the treatment depending on their  lifestyle and age.

For the comfort of the patients  Helena is using a  new  tool  which  is the low-level-light laser  that can be applied  on the acupuncture points as well.The laser could be used for  a variety of symptoms  like: pain, allergy ,tinnitus and other conditions /some restrictions apply/.

This type of laser provides : red, blue and yellow  beams of light.

Red  :  reduce the amount of cholesterol  in the vessels,calms nerves and heart  rhythm,  muscle relaxation,increases the amount of oxygen in the blood,stimulates immune system.

Blue :  enhances NO  production,antibacterial effects /Dermatology/, activates  Telomerase/Anti-Aging/

Yellow:  promotes serotonin level/mood-enhancing effects/,support  metabolism and function of bone by  vitamin D production.

 For the patient  who  wants  to improve facial appearance, she offers  facial rejuvenation treatments.

This special  treatment includes  insertion of tiny needles along the  meridian and facial  lines to increase blood circulation to oxygenate  and  to moisturize  the  skin from the inside out in natural way. Also a  special nourishing herbal mask is used  and other treatments according to the diagnose.The skin has tightened by stimulating the production of collagen and could improve unevenness  after injections of  fillers.
